After four decades of\nstorytelling, creativity, and community, The Paul Robeson Performing Arts\nCompany\/PRPAC has taken its final bow. It is with both pride and deep emotion\nthat we announce the immediate conclusion of our operations.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

For more than 40 years, we\u2019ve\nhad the honor of sharing the transformative power of live performance \u2014 tears, laughter,\napplause, and unforgettable moments that only the performing arts can bring.\nFrom our earliest productions to our most recent season, every light that rose\non stage was made possible by the extraordinary people who believed in us- our\naudiences, artists, staff, volunteers, donors, and partners.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

Thank YOU<\/span><\/strong>! Your passion and support sustained us\nthrough changing times and though our company\u2019s story is coming to an end, we\nknow our legacy will continue through all of you.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

I hold the Robeson Company close to my heart. It provided me the opportunity to grow as an artist and educator. It also provided an opportunity for many children to develop and express their young ‘voices’ and lastly, there was representation. They saw other Black people doing positive work. It will be exciting to see what the ‘revitalization’ yields for the Syracuse community. <\/div>
